From the opulent costumes to the dashing Duke of Hastings, everyone’s talking about Netflix’s hit period drama Bridgerton.
The standout star is actress Phoebe Dynevor, who plays young debutante Daphne Bridgerton – and it’s not just her complicated love life that has had us glued to the screen.
Fans have been obsessed with the 25-year-old actress’s perfect complexion, calling her “stunning” and “so pretty” on social media. Even Jessica Alba has commented on how “gorgeous” the star looked as Daphne.

Luckily for us, the show’s hair and make-up supervisor Lynda Pearce has revealed exactly what products she used on set to give Phoebe that fresh-faced glow – and it even includes some skincare “homework”.
“Phoebe is incredible at looking after her skin and so I sent her home with @beautypro ‘brightening’ masks to use to keep her skin bright and fresh,” Lynda explained in an Instagram post.
Beauty Pro Brightening Collagen Mask with Vitamin C, £3.71 here, is a sheet mask that’s designed to improve skin tone and increase elasticity. It should be kept on for at least 15 minutes for maximum results.
Phoebe also regularly used another bargain Beauty Pro mask to counteract the effect of early call times – Beauty Pro Eye Therapy Under Eye Mask, £3.71 here.

Lynda explained how Phoebe applied these refreshing under-eye patches before travelling to the set “and they would stay on until I was ready to apply her make-up. Both of these products help to keep her skin looking like she had had 12 hours of sleep, even though this was not the case.”
Here’s what other skincare essentials Lynda uses on the actress – and it includes some long-time beauty cupboard staples…

At the end of the day of filming, Lynda would first use this cult classic micellar water to thoroughly remove Phoebe’s make-up.
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, buy it here for £15.50
Phoebe would then do a second cleanse with this other iconic product. This was followed by Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic “to close the pores”, Lynda explains.

Lynda’s moisturiser of choice was this simple, gentle, fragrance-free cream, which is perfect for anyone with dry or sensitive skin.
Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil, buy it here from £34

This was applied to Phoebe’s skin every other day for extra hydration.
“It is important not to overuse facial oils and to find the right amount for your skin type,” advises Lynda.
