Glasses might not have a reputation for being makeup-friendly, but that doesn’t mean you have to be excluded from the fun.

For my fellow bespectacled friends, I’ve compiled a short list of tips I swear by. These tips keep my makeup on point whether I’m wearing thin- or thick-rimmed specs!

 

Tip 1: Conceal, Don’t Feel

Regardless of the width of the rims of your glasses, they will cast an unflattering shadow over your eyes. If you already have dark under-eye circles, they accentuate your circles further, which is why it’s important to apply concealer. Apply it in a V-formation and blend well to brighten up the under-eye area.

 

Tip 2: Ready, Set and Press

Whether you have oily or dry skin, the T-zone is always the oiliest part of the face. Unfortunately, glasses smudge the makeup in this area even more.

Using setting powder ensures long-lasting makeup and helps brighten up your face. If you have oily skin, setting spray should also be your best friend!…
