LOVE Island has welcomed new contestant Mike Thalassitis, but he looks totally different in throwback pictures.
The 24-year-old semi-professional football player from London has admitted he wants to pursue Olivia Attwood, Jessica Shears and Amber Davies in the Love Island villa.
He admitted: “Looks wise, I’d say Jessica, Olivia and Amber.
“But personality is really important – I couldn’t be with Jessica if we were having boring conversation. I want to have a laugh and enjoy the girl’s company.”
But with girls such as Camilla Thurlow, Montana Brown and Chloe Crowhurst still available, who knows what will go down as he finally enters the ITV2 villa?
However, the hunk – who played for Stevenage FC – hasn’t always been the toned Greek God he likes to refer to himself as.
In fact, the new Love Island star has been poked fun out of by fellow footballer, Billy Bricknell.

Taking to Twitter he shared a picture of Mike in school, he wrote: “Na, all seriousness…. All the best to my boy @MikeThalassitis in @LoveIsland #ManlikeThala.”
In the image a younger Mike looks totally innocent with gelled hair, a loose tie and a possible ear piercing.
But it’s not the only thing to come out of the woodwork since Mike was added to the ITV2 line-up.
It would appear he’s good friends with Luis Morrison, who met Cally-Jane Beech on Love Island series one and just welcomed a baby with her.
An image on Mike’s Instagram account shows Luis with his arm around Mike in a London club.
Luis has since shared the picture of the night out on his Instagram account, with a little message for Mike.
He wrote: “So my boy @mike_thala is finally on Love Island. Can’t wait to see you on there!!.”
Love Island continues tonight at 9m on ITV2.
