Dr. Alex George entered Love Island with the hopes of finding the one, and so far has been left disappointed.
However, Samira Mighty and Megan Barton Hanson’s co-star on the hit ITV2 dating show is still being backed by many viewers.
However, one thing the viewers have noticed is Alex’s shiny skin, whether he’s talking to the Love Island cameras, or in the garden with his co-stars.
The team over at Nivea have put the shininess down to Alex’s thorough use of sun protection, which of course is excellent as he spends hours in the sun.

Nivea said: “With skin care being our type on paper, we salute Alex for his sun cream commitment but can’t help but notice his sun-cream sheen.”
However, the team added you can be protected while avoiding the shine with a very simple product.

Nivea’s Sun Shine Control is the perfect answer to Alex’s famous shine, and a great way to stay protected all summer without the dreaded sun-cream sheen.”
Nivea Sun Shine Control Face Cream is £8.00 and available to buy at Boots.
Fans of the show have started to notice Alex’s shine, posting about it online.
One viewer Tweeted: “Does Alex wear foundation or just a really high SPF because his face is very shiny and white in the diary room place thingy #loveisland.”
Another wrote: “Alex is so shiny. He needs setting powder #LoveIsland”
Love Island continues 9pm on ITV2.
