The Gogglebox star has tied the knot with new husband Tony Butland, in a ‘magical’ ceremony.
The Channel 4 favourite admitted he was a “blubbering mess” during the wedding, as he said his vows in front of his friends and family.
Discussing their big day, which took place at The Grand Hotel in Brighton, the 41 year old said: “There was so much love in the room – everything went perfectly and I am the happiest man alive.
“From the moment we woke up to when we said goodbye to the last guests in the early hours everyone said they’d never felt such energy at a wedding before.
“Their reaction made it even more special.”
The star opted for an incredible aqua marine Dolce and Gabbana silk suit to say “I do”, complete with an ivory bow tie.
Lucy Mecklenburgh sparked engagement rumours by sharing a snap of her in a wedding dress for her new fitness programme
Tony decided on an ivory suit with floral decorations, completing the look with a deep-red shirt and bow tie.
Chris started on Gogglebox five years ago, and only asked one star of the hit Channel 4 series to be a part of his big day – ex-boyfriend Stephen Webb.
“Stephen and I are still incredibly good friends and he summed it all up for me when he said that the whole day was magical,” he continued.
Opening up about the role his co-star played in their nuptials, the hairdresser confessed: “He was an usher and also did an amazing reading which made me cry.”
The happy couple have since headed to Sorrento, Italy, on a small honeymoon, before going on a huge trip to New Zealand next year.
They started dating three years ago, and Tony later popped the question on top of the Eiffel Tower, in Paris.
It seems the couple had a lot to celebrate on their big day, as it coincided with Pride in London.
Speaking about the significance, Chris explained: “It was wonderful that the two days coincide because we were so grateful to all the heroes who have fought so hard for gay rights over the years – enabling us to marry and enjoy such a special wedding.”
Tony agreed, stating: “We are very lucky – we are best friends and we both feel we have married our dream man.”
Ahead of the wedding, the reality star went under the knife for his third hair transplant, to make sure he was looking his best,
Chris shelled out £8,000 for the procedure, performed at the Crown Clinic by surgeon Asim Shahmalak.
The doctor has a string of other celebrity clients including Calum Best, TV doctor Christian Jessen and Homes Under The Hammer presenter Martin Roberts.
Discussing the procedure, the star added: “I am so glad that I got my hair done. I look 10 years younger. I am hairdresser and I love doing flamboyant styles for my client – now I can do the same for myself.
“Having these hair transplants has given me the hair I always wanted.”
