I know, I know, Hunger Games did not even come out this year! BUT…..I did want to to an Effie Trinket look, for not only the First Hunger Games, but also for Hunger Games: Catching Fire! SO finally here is my fav Effie Trinket look..I meant she’s got an Alexander McQueen butterfly dress, butterflies in her hair, on her lashes, all that yellow up on her face! It’s awesome! Hope you guys have fun watching it too! Butterfly kisses…(insert bad pun here)…hee hee your friend Effie, I mean Kandee.

The Paper Butterfly Lashes that were really used in The Hunger Games for Effie Trinket (and Elizabeth Banks):
I found paper butterfly lashes at the Spirit costume store, but can’t find them online.
WIG: It was just an old lady looking wig I got at the wig shop.
BUTTERFLIES: I got a few packages of the giant monarch butterflies from Michaels:
I also got a kids turtleneck and cut the sleeves off then just stuck the butterflies, which are on wires down into the shirt and did the same thing with the hair, just stuck them down into the wig, and voila! Effie Trinket!
