Bobbi Brown just got a lot more affordable. The makeup company that got its start with just ten nude lipstick shades is launching a new line of lower-priced tones, along with a global influencer program to appeal to a more Millennial demographic, according to WWD.

Described as a “lipstick with the feel of a balm”, the Crushed Lip Color comes in 20 shades and has a semi-matte finish and a moisturizing formula. The most exciting part? The $29 price point is 17 percent less than other luxury lipsticks.

“We’re not changing our philosophy,” Sandra Main, president of La Mer and Bobbi Brown told WWD. “We’re not changing how we express ourselves — but the platforms that allow us to express ourselves are so much broader in today’s world that it gives us the opportunity to speak to a much larger community and for that community to speak on our behalf, as well.”

The Crushed Lip Color is the first launch in the brand’s larger initiative to roll out more affordable makeup in the year ahead. A complexion product will launch in January and another lip item next fall; each piece will be 15 to 20 percent cheaper than the core Bobbi Brown collection, according to Main.
