Move over chocolate, 2018 is ALL about beauty advent calendars. Yup, while a definite highlight of December used to be waking up to a sweet treat from our advent calendar, imagine instead, having some dreamy makeup or beauty treat every day. Have we got your attention? This year, all our favourite beauty names from Jo Malone to Charlotte Tilbury, are hauling out their ever-popular calendars in the countdown to Christmas. Ranging from small bottles of perfume to little pots of cream blush, there’s pretty much something for everyone. Now we’ve got the hard task of deciding which one to go for, and more importantly, who to ask. Feast your eyes, people…

With 24 mini gifts including a Lime, Basil & Mandarin Body Crème, Blackberry & Bay Hand and Body Lotion, Freesia & Pear Eau du Toilette, plus a bunch of their suuuper popular Candles, this calendar is set to rival it’s high-end counterparts…
2. Estée Lauder Companies, £150
The Estée Lauder Companies advent calendar is back, and it’s better than ever… With ALL of ELC’s iconic brands from Bobbi Brown to MAC and Origins to Smashbox, it’s a powerhouse of beauty treats. Expect to find hero products from the MAC Strobe Cream, to the Bobbi Brown Smokey Lash Mascara and the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum.
3. Iconic London, £120
Iconic London’s Night on the Town Advent Calendar contains 10 full size products, and 2 minis, including their makeup brushes and Boom Lash Mascara. Of course, their cult highlighting drops are included, so you’ll be glowing by Christmas day.
4. NARS, £150
The gang’s all here… NARS’ first-ever beauty advent calendar is brimming with 24 mini and full-size makeup treats. Expect to find cult products including the Laguna Bronzer, Radiant Creamy Concealer and Orgasm Blusher.

MAC has released their first EVER advent calendar, and it’s every bit as magical as you could have imagined. ‘Shiny Pretty Things’ contains 24 mini and full size MAC products, including cult classics Velvet Teddy lipstick, Feline eye pencil, Ruby Woo Lipstick and Woodwinked eyeshadow.
6. Space NK, £250
Space NK may have just stolen the crown for best beauty advent calendar of 2018. With £600 worth of products from the likes of Drunk Elephant (yesssss), Sunday Riley, NARS, Oribe and Hourglass – it’s all our favourite brands in one place.
7. Net-A-Porter, £150
Net-a-Porter are launching their first ever beauty advent calendar this year and it’s everything we’ve been waiting for. With products from the likes of Charlotte Tilbury, Sunday Riley, Hourglass and Marc Jacobs, the 25-door calendar is the luxury beauty gift everyone deserves to find under the Christmas tree this year.
8. Feel Unique, £75
Feel Unique’s beauty advent calendar is worth £75, but contains £250 worth of products, including: Percy and Reed, Sleek, Murad, Make Up Forever and Sol De Janeiro’s iconic Brazilian Bum Bum Cream.
9. ASOS, £55
ASOS has just launched their Face & Body Advent Calendar, which contains 24 beauty minis that we’re desperate to try. For £55 it’s one of the cheaper calendars this year, but don’t think that means they’ve skimped on product. We’re most excited by the mini Benefit Hoola Lite, MAC Strobe Cream and GlamGlow Glowstarter Illuminator.
10. Jo Malone, £300
Try not to hyperventilate, but the Jo Malone advent calendar has been revealed and it’s every bit as beautiful as you can imagine. With 24 doors, containing 24 Jo Malone products including candles, perfume and body products, you’ll never want December to end.
11. Charlotte Tilbury, £150
Our fave makeup artist just keeps coming back with more; Charlotte Tilbury’s Beauty Universe Advent Calendar includes mainly her best-selling hero products, in cute travel sizes. Since we can’t decide what to buy first, this is a dreamy treat for any beauty (and Charlotte Tilbury) obsessive.
12. Selfridges Beauty Workshop Selection Box, £70
Valued at £245, this dreamy advent calendar houses treasures from Ouai, Peter Thomas Roth, Beautyblender, Cover FX and Zoeva – aka, all our fave brands.
13. Diptyque, £320
One for all the scented candle lovers out there (aka all of us)… Diptyque’s advent calendar offering is guaranteed to be the best smelling Christmas present ever. Think, mini fragrance, candles and skincare treats.

If, you’ve spent more hours than you’d care to admit, browsing the Liberty Beauty Hall, this is the advent calendar for you. With over £600 pounds worth of iconic beauty products, including: Byredo, Le Labo, Hourglass and Lixirskin, this is well worth the £195 price tag.
22. Elle, £125
Elle’s first beauty advent calendar contains 24 luxury beauty products worth an insane £340. You can expect to find products from the likes of NARS, Too Faced, Hourglass, Dermalogica and Bella Freud.

When it comes to ultra-luxe skin treats, Decléor know how to deliver. Their 24-door advent calendar is brimming with everything from skincare essentials to heavenly body treats (all of which smell like a dreamy spa). There are three full-size products included, plus 21 deluxe samples. You’ll have to be quick though, last year it sold out in just two weeks, with one being sold every eight seconds.

This year, L’Occitane have collaborated with fashion designer CASTELBAJAC PARIS to create not one but two beauty advent calendars (see the other below). Firstly is the ‘classic’ calendar worth £85, it features 24 doors and hidden behind each is a range of miniature hair and body products.

This year, The Body Shop are launching three different beauty advent calendars, the most luxe offering ‘Freddie’ contains products worth over £231 and features products from their Drops of Youth collection, as well as makeup treats and deluxe skin care samples.
